Nida Fazli an inspiring optimist
Seven years ago on 8th February 2016 a simple man,an under-celebrated genius ,and darling of poetic soirees passed away. The so called "Hindi"films too have kept his lyric alive. Kabhi kisi ko muqammal jahan nahi milta,(film, Ahista Ahista)) These profound lines have been penned by none other than Muqtida Hassan famous as Nida Fazli.For a few minutes Kunal Kapoor and Padmini Kolhapure on whom it was filmed in Ahista Ahista receeded from everybody,s memory but rendition of Bhupender Singh still resonates.I too tried to find the real meaning of life.Still these dulcet lines soothe me.His beautiful lyrics are lovingly and spontaneously recited even though most people are not able to read the Urdu script.
