These lines conjures up the image of bloom and distinctively reveal the eternal truth in the world of nature.Nature is dull and lifeless in winter but when spring comes after winter nature is revived with fresh leaves and flowers.We can't deny this fact that nature is part and parcel of our life.
The gift of nature are all most unlimited and thus a variety of useful plants are obtained from the plant kingdom.But the importance of Tulsi or holy basil is paramount.
Its well-known fact that greenery in any form is cooling.When the heat upsets the psychological as well as the physiological rhythm of the body and sending the temperature soaring like mercury.Then We need something green.Those who are fortunate enough to have space around the house and get the natural cooling advantage of the plants in the garden.But those who (which is most of us)who donot have garden at least have some greenery inside the house.
Tulsi or Occimum Sanctum is sanctified plant and considered as old as the creation and has been an object of worship since time immemorial.
In Sanskrit it is known as Vrinda, sulabha and Devadundubhi.In Arabic it is known as Rihan or sweet smelling plant.It has a sweet mellow fragrance.The most common type of Tulsi is Rama Tulsi.The therapeutic properties of Tulsi is excellent.
The holy basil is a type of indoor plants which don't require much attention are available in nursuries.We can keep it in vase for the same purpose.It not only improves the decor, it also improves the air around us.The holy basil has a medicinal properties also.Every part of the adorable plant is useful.The finely ground powder of basil seeds with honey is very useful in urinary problems.The tea made from Ginger black pepper in common cold or coryza is very useful.It also acts as mosquito and snake's repellent.Every morning put some Tulsi leaves in bucket of water mix a mug full of this with bath water and see the difference.You have cooling, lingering fragrance on body.
At last gear up for summer with Tulsi if you don't have must fetch from nursery.

I have always been fond of reading.Looking back I can't forget how my father went above and beyond to encourage my love for reading  .My love for reading which was present in my school days has grown significantly. Due to fast-paced nature of digital media there is decline in reading habits . With the arrival of mobile phone, Laptop the habit of reading largely diminished among the youth.Reading newspaper and Magazine along with tea is no longer seen . Recently when I ransacked my store of the house ,I finally hit upon this great magazine of my father,s time. My father was an ardent reader of this magazine.This magazine  "Sunday,,was the biggest best seller of it's time.It was published from Anand Bazar publication.Once upon a time Mr M.J.Akbar has been editor of The Sunday,,.(1982 edition) . Now I don't know anything about this Magazine but this Magazine is imbued with memories....
