Mahatama Gandhi an embodiment of peace, truth and non-violence,

October 2 we enthusiastically commemorate this day as Gandhi Jayanti to honour the pioneer , iconic patriot of India Mahatama Gandhi.India observes Gandhi Jayanti as national holiday.
We need to ask ourselves whether we follow his ideology, I will say no.
Mahatama Gandhi famously claimed that India lives in her village.Even today problem of floating population is not stopped . Villages are calm and quiet give deserted look .We are celebrating 156th birth anniversary of Bapu.But where are we.There is unemployment, poverty, lack of development of rural economy. The state work force have to migrate to other places.
Manipur is burning.Christians being targeted for  forced conversion  . Hatred intolerance, rising day by day ,Beti bachao beti padhao, but you can see what is happening with our daughters.
When I read Mahatama Gandhi,s My Experiment with Truth, I was compelled to ask myself what was it about Mahatama Gandhi that made him so extraordinary.
Today is Gandhi Jayanti we should follow his ideology for great ๐Ÿ‘ India bright India .

I have always been fond of reading.Looking back I can't forget how my father went above and beyond to encourage my love for reading  .My love for reading which was present in my school days has grown significantly. Due to fast-paced nature of digital media there is decline in reading habits . With the arrival of mobile phone, Laptop the habit of reading largely diminished among the youth.Reading newspaper and Magazine along with tea is no longer seen . Recently when I ransacked my store of the house ,I finally hit upon this great magazine of my father,s time. My father was an ardent reader of this magazine.This magazine  "Sunday,,was the biggest best seller of it's time.It was published from Anand Bazar publication.Once upon a time Mr M.J.Akbar has been editor of The Sunday,,.(1982 edition) . Now I don't know anything about this Magazine but this Magazine is imbued with memories....
