Earthen Stove,a handmade creation

The earthen home made stove is the creativity of village women . Earthen stove or clay chulha has been used since time  immemorial .
In our fast moving lives who cares or thinks about this handmade humble clay chulha (stove) .Last month I visited a village of Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh.Firozabad is famous for glass work and bangles.This place is famous as suhagnagri .
But still some marginalized families have this type of handmade humble clay chulha.Only because of the costly gas cylinder.Many types of fuel is used like dried cow dung known by different local names  such as kande,upla, or geutha ,dried branches of tree trimmings . Sometimes it is very difficult to buy costly cylinder.This type of handmade chulha is boon for them.
But the unfortunate side of village women to hide the truth about their economic condition.They  exaggerate to impress if asked by outsider .  In  reality they are in deep distress . What do you say about this , compulsion or creativity or resilience of  village women .

I have always been fond of reading.Looking back I can't forget how my father went above and beyond to encourage my love for reading  .My love for reading which was present in my school days has grown significantly. Due to fast-paced nature of digital media there is decline in reading habits . With the arrival of mobile phone, Laptop the habit of reading largely diminished among the youth.Reading newspaper and Magazine along with tea is no longer seen . Recently when I ransacked my store of the house ,I finally hit upon this great magazine of my father,s time. My father was an ardent reader of this magazine.This magazine  "Sunday,,was the biggest best seller of it's time.It was published from Anand Bazar publication.Once upon a time Mr M.J.Akbar has been editor of The Sunday,,.(1982 edition) . Now I don't know anything about this Magazine but this Magazine is imbued with memories....
